COMMENTARY
Some background on the process for each page...basically, I take important points from what I have written for each episode and then I draw it out on paper with a pencil. I dont ink it or anything. Then, I scan each page and remove everything except the lines. I darken the lines, and then I rearrange panels if I need to. Then, I use a layer behind the lines to shade using the multiply tool, and then I add a paper texture background and an overlay on the gutters. This way, I can get the expressiveness of the traditional medium (and work on the comic on the go lol) while also adding my favorite things about digital art that make it cool. I actually got this technique from a YouTube channel I like a lot called Bad Ink Studios, and I used it in some of my pieces before deciding I wanted to do a whole comic with it.
